Wine baby. Jump up and down and make all the sound you want. Go crazy. Carnival is why we’re here, a dance party. All the culture in one place. Always have to move 'cause we don’t stop. Always have to move 'cause we don’t stop!  / The music loud. We’re all jumping. Everybody feeling right. The girl waving, the man fretting, when the Angostura died. My partner tell me hold on. He bring this sweet ting for me to roll on. Lose control. Now we reach for the sky. Waving flag while we wine. Now she pushing back. I’m not taking that. All the people jam up while they stand up, everybody wave your flag. / When the band come play the sound the whole place in a trance. You could never kill the vibe. We living the life, girl, come and let me see how you wine. It’s my first time at the fête. I will never forget. / All around me everybody smiling, everybody cheering. Lord have mercy – look at the girl, them wine up their waist. "Awe" around me. Music, laughing, people happy. No need to fret when I’m in the fête. First time is crazy. Mental escape. Just found a lady dressed in black, red, and white. Oh, what a night! / Now she pushing back. Man, I’m not taking that. All the women climb up while men line up. Everybody want a chance. Mashing up my foot we have no room to hold the dance. When the rain start falling we ain’t leavin’. We’re there! All night we ain’t watching the time. It’s my first time at the fête. I will never forget. / Now the rain starting to pour. Turn the music up a little more. Let the bass just mash up the ground. While I watch this one take me down. She’s almost breaking my spine. But I’m feeling good, I don’t mind. Now she pushing back. I’m not taking that. All the people jam up while they stand up, everybody wave their flag! / When the band come play the sound the whole place in a trance. You could never kill the vibe. We living the life, girl, come and let me see how you wine. It’s my first time at the fête. I will never forget.
