From 2015 - 2020 The Jank Guitar Store provided music education, instrument sales, community events and performance opportunities from its brick-and-mortar location in St. Charles. In 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic The Jank Guitar Store St. Charles transitioned all services online to continue safely serving the community.

In 2018 The Jank Guitar Store established its European headquarters in Saint-Malo, France. The Jank Guitar Store's European flagship boutique was located at 12 Place Bouvet in Saint-Malo. From 2018 - 2020 The Jank Guitar Store developed its European business operations from the brick and mortar location in Saint-Malo, France. This has served as the hub for community programs such as The Road Song Challenge France, digital products and services such as #thejankguitarstore podcast, and physical products and services such as guitar lessons and the #thejankguitarstore retail boutique.
Students, community leaders, and government officials from the US and France were scheduled to attend the grand opening on June 12, 2020. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the brick-and-mortar grand opening event was postponed and ultimately canceled. The boutique nevertheless moved forward with a #physicallycloseddigitallyopen grand opening of its online showroom with European orders fulfilled by the Saint-Malo boutique. In 2021 due to the ongoing conditions and restrictions of the pandemic combined with the popularity and demand for online services, #thejankguitarstore Saint-Malo closed its brick-and-mortar boutique in order to focus on providing robust digital services and shopping experiences. |
